May 31st, 2009On the Candy Scene

As I type these words, know that I’m munching on Trolli’s Sour GlowWorms. Actually it’s me and my son who are munching these yummy worms. And so I thought that I might as well write a mini review of it

My son saw a packet of it a few minutes ago and we decided to help ourselves. *smiles* Not sweet, I prefer giving this to my son than the tradition sweet candies or chocolates which easily trigger his asthma.

We both love its sour taste. It’s not too sour, nor too hard nor too soft, it just tastes right for our taste buds and is one of our favorite snacks. Other sour confectionery variants that we dig are the Trolli Squiggles, Trolli Gummi Bears and Trolli Brite Crawlers.

May 30th, 2009Try Playhouse Disney

Isn’t Disney Channel a gift to kids? As a parent who wants only informative yet fun shows for her kid, I think Disney Channel is the perfect channel for my son to watch.

Online, there’s also a Disney Site that I like my son to check out. It’s the Playhouse Disney site, which we frequently visit. The site offers games, activities, music and stories of popular Disney Channel shows such as My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse among others. My son likes Handy Manny a lot (like he adores Bob the Builder) and you can only imagine how he’d tirelessly look and see the games and stories about Manny’s tools and such from there. Try it now, it’s free and it’s fun.

BTW, all of you Handy Mannys and Bobs (the Builders), who need industrial handles, just click the preceding link and see if these are what you’re looking for.

May 28th, 2009What’s Your Toy Story?

It’s really amazing how everything is available online! E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! Clothes, shoes, toys, household items, gadgets and gizmos, cosmetics and skincare products and whatnots. And all we need to do is to let our hands do the walking. *smile*

Anyway, I’m planning to get my son some educational toys online. My concern is I’ve tried paying for online stuffs but have not really tried buying toys online, because we always go to a toystore.

If anyone reading this has tried buying toys online, I appreciate to hear about the experience. Please.

May 24th, 2009My List

Today, I’m going to make a list of my favorite things/shops/brands etc… There are actually many  things I wanted to include in my list but I’ll limit it to 5 items for now. (me thinks I could always make more lists in the future).

1. Women’s Boutique:

Mango (MNG). Okay , it actually depends on the budget but I love going inside any Mango shop. Bench, too.

2. Baby Toys:

Fisher Price. Hasbro.

3. Baby Care/Nursing Products:

Pigeon

4. Sports Apparel:

Puma

5. Vitamin C:

Berocca

Okay that’s all for now. Catcha later. Oh by the way, here’s another list that you might be interested in. It’s a list of the best diet pills available in the market these days. Happy reading!

May 19th, 2009I Love Love :-)

Okay, I’ve mentioned a favorite perfume awhile back.

But there’s also this scent from a local shop in my country that I totally love. Actually, this is my regular day fragrance. Here it is.

Incidentally, it’s called Love, one of the Lucy Torres’ scent collection by Bench. It’s neither too gentle or too strong for my taste. Its sweet and  womanly scent just captivates my olfactory glands.

Omnia BW Sometime last year (end of the year), my sister gave me a bottle of Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline as present. What can I say other than I was elated.

I truly, truly, truly love its sweet and tangy scent.  It’s long-lasting and I don’t need to re-spritz within the day.

My husband also loves its scent on me and without missing, he compliments me everytime I’m wearing it. From my point of view, it’s  the ONLY perfume that my husband loves on me.  Must have been body chemistry but  it makes me feel oh-so sexy. And real hot -as if I’m wearing one of these skintight bodystockings. *wicked grin*

May 14th, 2009Oh Choc It

I’ve been forgetting a lot lately - like you will not believe it!

I forget things to bring in the office.

I forget things to do.

I just forget. Maybe there’s really just a lot in my mind (I think I need a memory-enhancing pill now! Or a built-in compact flash in my brain. Lol)

Anyway, I went to the grocery last week and I forgot to pick up something very essential for my day-to-day existence (I’m not telling you what it was but it was EXTREMELY important). *hids behind the screen*

But wonder of all wonders that I did not forget to take home a bar of Toblerone Fruits and Nuts. So totally love it’s creamy goodness. :-)

May 10th, 2009New Webhost

Few weeks ago, I received an email from the administrator of my webhost informing me (and the rest of their clients) that it is closing down “due to the economic downturn.”  With this our accounts will be migrated to another web hosting company, the Host Penguin. When I received the news, I was really sad - in fact, I’m still sad at this current development.  As I’ve mentioned before in this post, I’ve always been satisfied with their services (Host Prestige), especially the after-sales support.

As of presstime, our accounts  are already migrated to HostPenguin and so far everything is fine with my sites. I really hope that with the new service provider, we (clients) will still get the same quality support we got from Host Prestige.

To the peeps behind Host Prestige, thanks for your invaluable service.
