August 30th, 2009Botched

I’m supposed to write a review about a great cleaning product I vowed to use until forever -hehe- but I’m so in the mood to just relax now. So I’ll just scoot and be back in a while. :-)

August 24th, 2009Last Straw Strategies

Before I get to my review, please take time to visit Blue Cross North Carolina for medical and health plans.

Books are fun. Books are great. Books are helpfuI.

How can I live without them?

My latest craze - if you can call it that- is a series of self-help books for parents called the Last Straw Strategies by Michelle Kennedy. I honestly couldn’t be more thankful for finding these great books that offer advices, tips and tricks on how to deal with babies, toddler and growing children. Each book in the series tackles on one specific problem are i.e sleeping, crying, jealousy, etc… The books are really a great source of practical advices and tips in handling kids coming from parents and grandparents.

The book I’m currently reading now is the one for manners and it’s really informative and practical. I treasure this one a lot because at the moment, I am teaching my kid about good manners to be observed at home and in public places.

So you knew that I was recently in a salon and so now, I am sporting a new do.

What you may not know though, is that I’m currently having a lot easier time fixing my hair, mainly because of the new do, and then also because of a great product the assistant hairdresser has recommended for me to use.

This product is the KERASTASE Nutritive Oleo Relax Ultimate Controlling Elixer Serum (for very rebellious & dry hair). This no-rinse formula, which comes in 50ml glass bottle,  doesn’t only  smooths hair to the ends but gives it a lustrous finish as well. It’s a bit pricey but the effect I get  is worth every moolah I paid for it.

August 21st, 2009Taking A Break

Before I get to my post, please check this search engine directory. Just click, click, click.

Okay, I’ll proceed.

We just had our much needed mini-break - thanks God! It’s really a brief one but it’s a well spent one. We went to a resort about an hour drive away from home - and had a grand time romancing the sea, sun and sand. Lovely, really.

If you can’t get enough of the sea, there’s also a pool to satisfy the “fish” in you. *smile*

And the food is absolutely mouth-watering. We had our share of yummy sea foods during our stay in the resort. And price (for their rooms and food) is just right.

So if you happen to be in the City of Golden Friendship (Philippines), I’ll happily recommend Apple Tree Resort and Restaurant.

August 10th, 2009New Do - thanks to David’s

I had the pleasure of visiting the salon last Saturday and boy did I feel better (and I guess, look better too! heheh).

After 8 months, I finally had my hair done. Can you tell I’m ecstatic? Am just really really glad since I’ve been trying to fix my schedule for this trip but I just didn’t have 5 hours to spare for a salon fix - not until last Saturday. And five holy hours that was! One could find Myrtle beach vacation rentals in much lesser time! Boy oh boy, my curly hair definitely needs a lot of time fixing!

I can only imagine how it must be for those who worked on my hair. And really from the bottom of my heart, I’m grateful for their patience while ironing, blowing, washing and cutting my hair (they truly deserved the generous tip I gave them).  And I’ll let you on a secret, there’s just no better salon than David’s Salon - I just love the way they care for my hair and make me look better.  :-)

August 7th, 2009Fruitini!

I’m going to rave about a refreshing fruit and veggies juice drink I found recently that I believe is great for kids and  adults alike. But before that please take a little time to view some truck accessories available online.

Now off to this new product I discovered. It’s the Del Monte Fruitini Juice Drink, which comes in three cool flavors: Purple Carrot, Brocolli and Orange Carrot.

Photobucket All of these  variants also contain  mixed fruit flavors. So it’s not only very healthy but absolutely tasty.  You just have to love all the 3 flavors. In fact, we are hooked with it. My toddler loves it a lot -and also me!  And then there’s my brother who likes to tiptoe to the fridge and help himself with my son’s loot. So try some now.

By the way, if anyone of you reading this happen to know about diet pills that work, I appreciate it if you could drop me a line here.

August 2nd, 2009One Great Place

There’s a place in the worldwideweb that I truly love. Time and time again, I could lose myself in the sheer pleasure of reading the numerous subjects tackled there. There’s one about proper diet and good nutrition, and then another about exercises. Then there are also health tips and tricks, and soooo many more useful topics for everyone.

Visit prevention.com now to see see first hand of what I’m talking about. :-)
