How would you feel when the resto where you’ve just eaten your lunch/dinner has no comfort room? Is it okay with you? Or would you feel pissed?
Normally, I would be okay with this AS LONG as there’s a comfort room nearby. But if there is none, then that doesn’t seem right, ayt? But I’ll still have a little tolerance –in some cases.
But yesterday, I was so pissed when I found out that Mang Inasal-SM CDO has no CR within its premises. Given that: I am pregnant and I can barely hold some water in the bladder; I have just eaten a full meal along with a big drink(!); and then, I couldn’t walk as fast as my brain can think, can you even imagine how mortified I was just knowing they have no CR in there? The walk to the mall CR was really a big inconvenience!
Sigh, sigh. Okay, enough of this verbal diarrhea, I better check some car insurance companies now. And oh before I forget, I do love eating at Mang Inasal. Their chicken are simply roasted to heavenly goodness!
Disclaimer: This is definitely not a review, since the I am not an expert of this thing and also, I have no experience with a similar product of other brands.
No, it’s not about one of those weight loss products. I just want to say post that I’m using it, the AccuCheck Active glucose test kit. Since I was advised by the endocrinologist to take blood samples (to check my blood glucose) every now and then, and so I use it. It’s so simple to operate, I just have to click a finger with the Softclick pen (lancet inside), insert a strip on the glucometer and let a drop settle on the strip for the reading.
It’s also so convenient to bring anywhere because everything I need can be placed in that blue plastic box.
So there, that’s just all I wanted to say.
Oh yeah NBA fans! So before you read about Testosterone booster, hear me out first.
Perhaps you’re watching the NBA playoffs on TV, good for you. With me working in the office, I can only depend with the Internet. Actually the guys in the office all depend on it, too. They huddle infront of the computer in the morning (we have different timezone) to watch the NBA games. Hah it looks like they are working, but wait until you hear them cheer their favorite team/player! Lol.
Anyway, it’s really a wonderful thing that we can watch the NBA games at Adthe.net.
Here’s an IlogMaria product that I’ve just recently used the last drop of.

I use it on my face and body without worry because I know it’s organically concocted. Made of honey, propolis and some herb extracts, the Ilog Maria Honey Propolis Liquid Soap cleanse my skin without drying it.
If you enlarge the picture, you can read its label that says:
“Raw honey penetrates and cleans pores, softens and moisturizes skin. Propolis is a powerful natural resin that protects your skin from fungal, viral and bacterial infections. This mildest natural liquid soap is handmade in our beefarm from nature’s herb extracts and oils to make your skin supple and smooth.”
I’m really so amazed with what modern techology can do, or better yet what modern electronics can do.
There used to be the electronic mail or cards which you can conveniently send with a tap of a button, consequently, receive in a jiffy. E-mail or e-cards are just awesome replacement to snail mails which are costly and takes so long to reach the recipients.
Then, sometime ago, we heard about e-books on Kindle. What great thing that was. Imagine to read books anytime and anywhere. And we’re all thinking about iPads now!
In the recent election, we’ve seen how the TV companies make use of the Hologram effect, where the reporter looks as if it’s just in the studio facing the anchor person, in presenting field reports.
Then I found out about electronic cigarettes, that simulate smoking activity without the expense of one’s health. I don’t really smoke nor do I condone the habit, but I’m so amazed that people can now smoke using an e-cig which contains no tar, tobacco or some carcinogens. Hah, with all this thing, I can’t help but wonder what’s the next electronic innovation. Or that is there an electronic coffee existing already?
I have been researching online for some writing activities I can feed my son before the school opens in June and I’ve been real blessed to have found a wonderful site that offers downloadable educational materials for free. It’s the Kidzone.
It has tons of educational materials for children in pre-school to Grade V. The subjects ranges from Math, Geography, Science and many more. The kicker there is it’s all for free and you don’t need to create an account o be able to avail of the free materials. It’s all just there for everyone to download and print. (Thanks to the generous site owner/s!)
From Kidzone, I also landed on some great specialty sites, namely:
All About Coloring, a great site that offers free coloring pages for kids;
DLTK’s Crafts for Kids, a site where you can have loads of fun crafts you can do with your children.
Then, if you want to incorporate Bible activities to Bible stories/lessons during Sunday School, check DLTK’s Bible Activities.
Then for parents, if you wish to go beyond the usual photo printing/presentation, check Smilebox for some exciting ideas on how to make your photos extra special. Try creating slide shows. Get hooked with scrapbooking. ( Digital scrapbooking has never been this easier -thanks Smilebox!) Do more with your photos and have fun.
I have already posted a review of sort about Indigomanila’s Spellbath Salt, but I wanted to share something that I –or my son to be exact– have recently experienced with it.
As I’ve mentioned before, my son is asthmatic and allergic. Every now and then, he has bouts of skin allergies, mostly occuring on the neck and upper chest area. Few days ago, he has started to scratch that particular area again. And because I don’t want to resort to an allergy medicine just yet, and since I’ve read once that a mother used it on his son’s skin allergies, I tried to manage my son’s itch with the Spellbath Salt.
And I saw for myself that it’s true indeed. After a couple of days of letting my son get into the “salty” bath, his skin has somehow improved. After three days, the tiny bumps are all gone –thanks to Spellbath.
Having an allergic and asthmatic child is not easy, and I’m saying it as a mother who has one asthmatic kid and who has experienced scenarios that have tested my courage and strength. But that said, how much more difficult it must be for the child.
And because of all that, it is important that we take all measures to keep the kid from having an attack, at all times and at all cost. Whatever that means.
For instance, we keep books cleaned and free from dust all the time. We watch his diet. We have regular A/C cleaning. We change beddings every week to keep it mite-free– actually, we’re supposed to do it every three days or best, everyday as advised by the doctor. But we settled for every week because our laundry woman comes every weekend only.
And we buy non-allergic stuffs for the kid, which brought me to seek allergy bedding, if it’s available because we need these things. And I found some, from mite-free pillow cases to allergy-resistant mattress toppers. Really want these beddings. No, we NEED these! So gotta find a way to get some delivered here.
I’m honestly itching to ride the treadmill or elliptical again. Or to indulge in some sort of exercise other than walking. I miss going to the gym and sweat it out like crazy. Lol. But because I cannot do so at the moment, let me just get the most out of yoga. Yup, yoga. I love Yoga!
But since I have an erratic shifting work schedule and cannot attend a real Yoga class although I’d love to, I’m happy I found a Yoga CD to help me with the exercise. Found the Yoga Zone Posture for Pregnancy five years ago, in one of my mall trips and I couldn’t be more glad.
Specially designed for pregnant women, the CD teaches about stretching exercises that can easily be done. It also includes valuable postures that can be helpful in alleviating back aches which preggy moms frequently experience as well as postures and breathing exercises that are useful during labor.
I have been using this CD since my first pregnancy and I can safely say it has helped me a lot during my labor with my firstborn. With it and with God’s help, I am hopeful that the exercises I’ve learned from this Yoga CD will also help me get through my second delivery easily and safely.
If my son has his Shoo Fly Don’t Bother Me to protect him from those pesky mosquitoes and insects, Mom also has her bug shield in the form of Ilog Maria Sting-less, a Citronella based mosquito repellent with Propolis.
On the label it says that Sting-less, being made from natural plant and fruit oils, ”safely repels mosquitoes and other insects.” And indeed, from my experience, it does effectively protect me from those bothersome mosquitoes and maybe unseen bugs.
Like my son’s Shoo Fly, which I also use at times, or like most natural repellent for that matter, this product has the Citronella scent but only much stronger than the Shoo Fly. Even then, it is something I cannot not tolerate.
Direction for use (according to label): Apply on clothing and less sensitive areas of the skin.
