May 12th, 2011PEP

I can’t believe I’m still awake at this time. Oh well, I slept this afternoon so I don’t feel too sleepy yet. Still, it’s late and I can’t believe what I’ve been doing all this time. Guess what? I’ve been reading entertainment  news online! And I know tomorrow I might just be needing eye cream for dark circles. Thanks to PEP. :-)

But yes, I’m kinda hooked with the showbiz articles on the site. And reading about the lives of the famous is addicting. So after Facebook, it would seem that this is site that I’ve been visiting a lot lately.

March 5th, 2011Faster

My eyes caught the name Outer Banks and this reminded me of a happy thing.

I’ve transferred money from Paypal to my bank, Metrobank recently and it took a couple of days before money was credited to my account. Not really too fast, but this is quite an improvement and I’m glad it’s faster than my previous transfer –which took about 4days. That’s half time! And that’s great for me.

February 11th, 2011Love Sale by IndigoManila

One of my favorite online shops, the IndigoManila, is having a Love Sale. Yay!

I totally heart some of their product such as the  Yummymummy Cocoa Butter, their massage oils and the Shoo Fly Don’t Bother Me Insect Repellent among other and so I’m making this plug.

Sale period is Feb 13 to 21, 2011 only. Please visit this  link for more info. Have fun shopping!

January 9th, 2011The Social Network

Who has seen the movie?

What to do you think?

Methinks it’s pretty inspiring. ;-) The start was pretty dragging and I understand that somehow in the movie, facts have turned into hollywoody but still I like it. Great movie to make us understand FB more (or the persona behind it).

I’m  blown at the fact that Mark made a billion-dollar worth site on his own. Oh well, the dispute on the originality (of FB) may not be settled but I mean, come to think of it, Matt did the codes and all with maybe not much of a thought how big Facebook would be  years later.

And FB has become so so big already. It’s become a staple thing for some people. In all honesty, I must admit that Facebook is one of the first sites I login to whenever I get online. And more often than not, it’s where I get my updates of my friends’ and relatives’ lives. :-)

December 27th, 2010Weeeeee!

So happy. Santa delivered the “thing” that I’d love to have this Christmas. So so grateful.

Actually, I’m using it at the moment. Ahem, ahem…it’s a Presario. And I so love it.

Thanks, Santa. So appreciate the gift and the love that goes with this gift. ;-)

December 24th, 2010To Santa, With Love

Dear Santa,

How are you? I hope you’re doing great despite your very busy schedule. Must have been a crazy month for you. But I hope you’re holding up well.

How are the reindeers? Must have been horrible traveling unto snowy areas on a sleigh so I’m hoping
you’re already using the modern automobile with, snowblower parts, now.

I’m really hoping you’re traveling in comfort as the traffic is horrible in this side of town and I’m sure it is no different in other parts of the globe. Plus the snow. *sigh* And yes, snowblowers would be very useful. They’d be vulnerable these days but then rest assured there are convenient ways to find replacement should there be a problem. I heard some shops offer free online repair help, too. And even ships 95% of all parts on the same business day· So there’s really no problem with that.

As with the weather, time and traffic, I’m just crossing my fingers that all is fine while you’re traversing the globe, delivering the gifts. And Santa, thanks in advance.

Love, ME

December 7th, 2010Thanks NBS

I’ve just officially made my very first purchase of books at the online National Bookstore. Wohooo!

I haven’t found out until  a couple of days ago that it’s already possible to  purchase books from National Bookstore online. Yeah baby, National Bookstore is already online! So just sit infront of the PC, maybe in your PJs, and click, click, click. *grins widely*

Ordering books has not been this easier and more convenient! Now this makes me think, maybe  this is the reason why bookworms are hogging their desktop computers all day? Gotta thank NBS for making all that possible. That is simply heaven for a bookworm like me!

December 1st, 2010December na!

You better watch out, you better not cry. You better watch out, I’m telling you why…

Whew! Holidays are here again. And that’s why I’m excited. Thoughts of the holidays are the perfect “upper.”

And this holiday, I hope I’d receive the one gift (apart from other things..lol) I’ve been waiting for — a lappie! Okay, okay, I hate to sound materialistic and to think the finances are tight these days. But well, we can always hope, and pray, right? Come to think of it, if a Acer Aspire falls from the sky, I’d be happiest nonetheless.

I miss my desktop and if I have my way, I’d want it revived. But if I can’t have that, then maybe it’s time to move on and accept the reality. And then hope for the best. :-) The best, oh yeah! *crossing my fingers* For the meantime, I’ll be contented with my netbook.

November 25th, 2010Jailbreaker wannabe

That’s me. I wanna be a jailbreaker.

No, no, I assure you I have a neat police record and that  I don’t mean jailbreak like prison break. What I mean is, I want to “jailbreak” my  iTouch. (Haaay, funny how some words have entirely different meanings these days!)

Anyway, I wanted to do that for so long. Heard it’s cool and that you’d be able to do a lot with an iPhone or iTouch when jailbroken. What’s keeping me though is the fact that jailbreaking voids iTouch/iphone warranty). I can’t risk that for now. But really, I’m only an inch away from crossing the border between Apple’s wall to freedom.

November 10th, 2010For Christmas

I’ve been researching for fat burning exercises to share to my friend and on my quest, I stumbled into this product instead.

Photobucket

It’s a wooden table for a laptop or to be used to serve breakfast on bed. :-) Looks nice ey? I think I can place this beside my bed, to hold some few things and my laptop/netbook. I think among other things (????that many??? lol), I’d love to have this for Christmas. Yes, for C hristmas. So friends, if you’re wondering what to wrap for me, then there’s your answer. :-) And it’s not expensive too.
