Photobucket I guess it’s time to start my series of quick reviews on Indigo products I have ordered.  So before I check some camcorder models, and lemme start my reviews with the Dance of Life Massage Oil.

A  blend of peppermint and lavender oils in  (obviously) a virgin coconut oil base, this invigorating concoction is actually not hard to love. It’s a bit greasy than a massage oil I previously used but it’s sweet and minty scent is so much milder and definitely good calming blanket to a stressul day. After a couple of minutes of application, I can easily identify the familiar scent of coconut oil but I don’t mind at all -because coconut oil scent somehow gives me an odd sense of security!

And because this massage oil has an all-natural ingredients, I am do not only feel secured but safe as well. In a scale of 5 being the highest, I give this product a 3.5.

February 17th, 2010So Behind But…

After reading about epiduo, I found a lovely site today. It’s about photography -actually, it’s not really ABOUT photography but it’s more about life in photos. It’s the shuttersisters site.

Oh I know, I know I’m so behind. I cannot believe that I only discovered it today. Ha, where have I been all my online life? Lol. But as they say, better late than never.

But I did have a fantastic time browsing the photos and finding the stories behind them. Will be back as much as I can, you just wait , Shuttersisters. :-)

December 28th, 2009Bench Daily Scent

Have you tried Bench Dialy Scent colognes?

A cousin gave me a box of Bench Daily Scent Cologne as Christmas present and so I have the privilege to get a  whiff of these highly advertised colognes which are made out of fragrance oil from Grasse France. Although all of the colognes are mild and have refreshing scents, among the six variants inside the box, my favorite one is the Nine To Mine scent, which  is sweet and a little tangy.

Other scents in the box are: Sunday Morning, Indian Summer, Spring Break, Happy Hour and Lazy Afternoon. For more of the scent description, check this article.

Oh BTW, I think it’s a perfect gift for teenagers. And forget about shipping boxes because  a small box of the Daily Scent which can be used as trial pack is available, too.

December 23rd, 2009Pure Seduction

What a titillating title! It reads “parental guidance” but  really this post is not. The only thing is, I just couldn’t think of a better title so we’ll leave it at that.

So anyway, I just want to say that Victoria Secret Pure Seduction Body Butter touched me today. And I feel sooo good.

It’s actually a Christmas present from a cousin and I love it. It’s been a while since I last used a VS product and as always, I always think that their lotions or butters are more than that. They can also be used as fragrance. Well, at least for me. When I do use their lotion, I no longer use cologne or perfume after. Economical ey?

So there. I swear seductive this afternoon. ;-) Now off to check Blue Advantage.
Merry Christmas everyone.

It’s raining elephants ’round here (the weather’s been dreary for the past 4 days already you gotta keep your breeches and save for later when the sun shines). And in times like this, for me, nothing beats a steaming mug of hot chocolate and a serving of suman (a popular rice cake in the Philippines; see more of its description here). Just yum-o!  But that’s just for starters.

For lunch and dinner , I want something hot and spicy. I don’t have anything specific in mind just that it’s hot and spicy. Actually, for all I care, you can give me anything - as in anything under the rainy skies - but couple it with a bottle of Tabasco. *smiles*

Remember that small bottle that gives all the zing I could want in my food? It’s hot and spicy and it’s all I ever need to give a bang to my system in a dreary weather like today. So there, give me anything and with a dash of Tabasco Red Chili Sauce, I’ll surely eat it like it’s first class gourmet dish.

November 16th, 2009You Know Who You Are

This post intends to give a prop up, a thumbs up to someone who has been so good to me. I cannot name you here, (and I’m sure you would like to keep things private) but thanks for the online work you always give me every now and then. I appreciate it.

Given that online opportunitities are rare to come by these days, I was surprised when I got an email from you last weekend. It inquired if I was interested to do an online work about jewelry (not really the Couture Jewelry kind). And being a girl who loves jewelry of any kind, how can I say no? =D

But ah yes, thanks for that opportunity Madame.

November 10th, 2009Thanks Paypal!

I was checking some designs of bar faucets, when I suddenly remembered to check my bank account through the internet. I made some transaction last week and although I wasn’t expecting instant deposit, I sure hoped that money will be credit earlier than the promised date of credit, which is still a couple of days away.  But sweet surprise it was when I found out that it’s all in. Yup, all in!

And so goes the reason of this post: I have to give Paypal due credit for the fast transfer of funds. Actually, with a turn-around-time of almost 2 business days, this has been the quickest transfer so far (I have made more than five withdrawals in the past).  So thanks Paypal!  It’s one of the best online payment solutions today -well, for me, it ranks second after Smartmoney.

September 15th, 2009Wowed!

I was in Davao City last week for an official business, so I’m going to do a little tweet about the hotel I stayed while in the city.

Before that, if you happen to be in New Orleans area and would wish to check the New Orleans hotel reservations, just click the preceding highlighted words.

Now going back to my business trip. I was billeted in one of the posh hotels there - the Marco Polo Hotel, which is located in the downtown area. And just to emphasize, I’m not going to do a review of the hotel because I feel that my 3-day stay didn’t give me enough experience for a comprehensive review of the hotel, its services and amenities. So this is just a tweet and what I’d really like to say is I so like it there. I like the pool area of the hotel. And I also like the Lazuli Spa -although I wasn’t able to get a booking because they are only open up til 10PM. But the services they offer are so enticing -again it’s just sad that I wasn’t able to experience the spa (I was able to avail to a room service though).

I also like that the room I had was furnished with iPod dock, LAN for internet connection and flat TV (wall-mounted). Actually, the room I had catered all my needs -from hairdryer to slippers. So truly, I was more than comfortable in my stay.

September 14th, 2009Quaker’s Oatmeal Cookies

I’m so humbled for this chance to review a product brand that is already famous since I was a kid. The product that I’m going to review though is new -at least at this side of the globe.

So what is it? First let’s do a guessing game. What do you remember when you hear about oatmeal? Is it the man with white locks and a hat? Remember Mr Quaker? Right.

Indeed, Quaker Oats name is a household name worldwide- maybe long before I was born. When I was a kid, oatmeals were already a source of  happiness. Just put a little chocolate and viola, it’s already happy meal for everyone!

Over the course of time, I have discovered the many things we can do with oatmeal. There’s the facial mask, scrub, soap. For the tummy, there’s the oatmeal bars and then I will not forget to mention the yummy cookies. All of these can be made easily at home. But do you know that  the trusted Quaker Oats has made our lives easier by offering us our favorite oatmeal cookies  in packets? Yes, yes, yo!

I had so much joy in me when, during one of my grocery expeditions, I discovered that Quaker Oats Cookies are already available in the market. They come in  3 variants (so far these were all I have seen and tried): Raisin, Honey Nuts & Apple and Cinnamon. And for every packet, which sells about Php10, comes 3 cookies of the same variant.  And lemme just say this: It’s really affordable and so yummy.

For those who are on a diet, don’t worry that you’ll have to spend extra minutes on the treadmill after eating the cookies because Quaker Oats Oatmeal cookies contain 0% Trans Fat and has no artificial flavor. SO what more can you ask for?

Now you can tell what my favorite snack is these days. :-)
