For those considering to buy a projector for office and home use, let me share this link on Epson projectors. Please have a look.

Moving on. I’m just thankful for having nice friends who are always willing to help you. You know it’s hard to be starting anew in a new place and harder to do that when you’re all alone (I mean away from your family). Difficult. Tough. But I’m just thankful that I have friends who are patient and understanding. And I’m also happy that I’m forging new friendship with my officemates. Because sometimes, what you need is not someone to help you but someone to listen. And I’m just blessed. So once again, I have to thank the Lord for that.

August 8th, 2011Achy, Flaky

Brrr…it’s really cold in here. Inside the house, it’s doubly cold. It’s the later part of winter in this part of the globe. And it’s still cold to me, who is not used to this kind of season. But at least there’s no snow. And there’s still the sun.  That’s why I like to go out, have a little walk just to be out in the sun. Come to think of it, I’m contemplating on learning to mow the lawn just so I have the reason to be out under the sun longer.

Anyway, the temp makes me wonder how much colder it will get here during the first few months of winter. Ohhh. And speaking of the cold, the skin on my nose is flaking. I’m putting on my moisturizer everyday plus Nivea baby Nutri Sensitive Milk Lotion to moisturize my face, but it seems that part of my nose still gets dry and flaky. Maybe I’ll try Cetaphil this week and we’ll see.

Oh btw, spring is coming soon. Happy thing. That thought is really making me excited.

August 7th, 2011Guessing Game

So I’m here and there’s not much to do. Really. And that is kinda new to me, since at home, with the kids and all,  I could barely get an hour of “me time.”

Anyway, here I am with nothing else to do but be online. So I’ve been thinking of a guessing game. To my family reading this, how about a guessing game? Just pm me the answer and if you get it right, I’ll send you a prize, which for now I’m still thinking. So okay? Here we go.

Guess: which one of these towels am I using at the moment?

Photobucket

Is it the brown, the cream or the tan towel? PM me and I’ll get back to you when you get the right guess.

July 6th, 2011One Shot A Day

I’ve promised myself to take one photo a day  this month, before I leave for the “greener pasture.” Nothing extraordinary, but it’s just a personal project to take shots of the simple things that would remind me of this month. I’m still trying with diferrent subject every day and so far I’ve fairly made some shots although I have not done so daily in the past few days.

But yes, I’m trying. It’s just that sometimes I feel like I just want to use a point-and-shot just like the Exilim EX-H20G for this personal project. I’m having a bit difficulty with my DSLR at times  due to its bulk. Since I’m always on the go, the weight and size just get in the way sometimes. Nonetheless, I hope to accomplish this self-imposed task before I leave home.

April 29th, 2011Beauty Bar in town!

I’m so thrilled to have found out (from my hairstylist) that Beauty Bar has opened in one of the malls in the city. Finally.

So now I don’t need to ask the hubster to get this-and-that for me (in Manila) as I can already do that on my own here. What joy that is! And then it gets me to thinking that now I need really lots of moolah to do just that!!! Lol.

March 12th, 2011Thanks ma!

So I’ve been to the salon. And I’m happy to finally have my hair done. It’s been 7 months and I’m just glad it looks better now.

I really want to thank my hairdresser, who is also a Loreal Color Expert, for making me feel good. I don’t know if I’m allowed to mention her name online (gotta ask permission first so maybe next time), but I really wanted to say  she’s done a great job on my crown (been doing it all the time). Thanks! And she also fixed my brows and gave me a sachet of the Loreal Proteline (Portein Emulsion,  a product which boasts of restoring vitality to dry and sensitized hair) all for free. Now that makes me wish that she could offer other services such as spa or cellulite treatment or facial treatment because I really trust her. I mean I like what she does on me. :-)

And before I go, I gotta say yes, I love Proteline. Next month, I’m buying some from my hairdresser because I love how it makes my hair feel soft and easier to comb.

February 18th, 2011Fine, either way

When I heard the news about Honda City cars 2009/2010 model recall today, my mind went overdrive. So are going to have a replacement? Sounds great to me. Hehehe.

Later I found out it’s for the 1.5 model only. Ours is not. Either way, I’m happy. I’d be happy to get a replacement but I’d also be happy retaining what we already have.  I’m a Honda car fan, y’know.    :-)

February 16th, 2011That Pair

So I mentioned that we went to the mall on Valentine’s Day. But I forgot to mention that I found a nice pair of sandals in the mall and surprisingly I didn’t buy it. Am still contemplating at the moment whether or not I should buy it. I think it  looks great on me (one-sided remark!) but I’m just not sure if that style of sandal is a practical choice. Thus, the indecision.

But, it’s on my mind now. In fact, I should be reading about wilson cell booster right this very minute but I unexpectedly find myself daydreaming wearing it to work. Haaaayyy, woe-man! I might as well run to the mall the moment I get off from work today.

December 4th, 2010Loreal Total Repair Couple

PhotobucketFor hair care, I think this is the best tandem ever. Of course this doesn’t include those hair treatments that I indulge in once in a lifetime. ;-)

But yes, for everyday use, this pair of Loreal Total Repair Shampoo and Conditioner is absolutely a treasure. First, these are affordable. Second, they smell great. Third, they don’t hurt my eyes unlike some haircare products I’ve tried. And last but not the least, they work wonders for my special type of hair. :-)

I may not be able to help you with  the leaks of your kitchen faucets or the bathroom pipes but I sure has something to say about bladder leaks.

If you’re a mother, maybe at some point you experience getting leaks before reaching the toilet. I guess this would be most common to pregnant women — oh well, I always did when I was in my third trimester — and older women past 60 year old (my mother complains of this most of the time).

But would you know that there’s an underwear that helps you stride confidently even with the leaks? It’s called Stride, an underwear with built-in liners that gives me total protection to light leaks. Works really wonders, I must say as I own a couple of these undies. The liners, by the way, are not bulky, it’s just like wearing those disposable liners.

The panties I owned are the seamless kind which are made of 73 %Nylon and 27% Spandex. Love them so much because they are totally comfortable and fits me perfectly.
