Ever heard of Moroccan oil? I’m not sure if there’s another moroccan oil but what I’m thinking is Moroccan oil for the hair. I’ve heard from friends that this is a great product to keep the hair shiny and manageable, very much like argan oil for hair I believe. But I have yet to see for myself to be able to make a comparison.
I’ve been to the grocery today and I’ve seen that the salon across Woolies has a supply of Moroccan oil, so I thought maybe I’d also try this one. Update soon.
In the meantime, thos of you who have tried either products, I’s appreciate a quick tale on their performance.:-)

So I was in the salon, and not only did I learn that Beauty bar has already opened in town but that they sell a nice product called Rice Paper.
It’s like an oil-blotting paper like the one I’ve been using (Gatsby). Like Gatsby, it’s pretty affordable and handy. Now the big difference though is that it uses natural rice powder to eliminate the shine on the face. Actually, either side of the paper can be used for blotting facial oil but there is a side with rice powder on it. And the nicest thing is that you can choose from 4 variants that best suit your skin tone: Natural, Warm Beige, Fair and Nude.
l got the Natural shade and I love it (I passed my Gatsby to my husband, which he also loves). It perfectly does its job of getting rid of the unwanted shine on my face in a jiffy.
BTW, one pad of Rice Paper Tissues contains 40 sheets. And each sheet is made of the following ingredients: Oryza Sativa (rice) paper, Oryza Sativa starch, Methylparaben, Fragrance. From the Iabel, it may also contain Titanium Dioxide CI77891 and Iron Oxides.
I’m so thrilled to have found out (from my hairstylist) that Beauty Bar has opened in one of the malls in the city. Finally.
So now I don’t need to ask the hubster to get this-and-that for me (in Manila) as I can already do that on my own here. What joy that is! And then it gets me to thinking that now I need really lots of moolah to do just that!!! Lol.
A friend shouted out about how she loves Zumba and I went like, what iz that?
I sincerely got interested when she mentioned she was sweating in minutes of doing it, and that she loves it. So I searched through Mister Google and here’s the link about Zumba. After reading it, I wanted to try it too. So after this post, and after looking at this motor GPS which is incidentally called Zumo 220, I’m checking if I can get a copy of the fitness program. *crossing fingers* Have to try it in my next restdays.
zumo 220
And I’m searching for a copy of the program
Apart from reading about some weight loss product a.k.a lipozene (paging dear desperate sister, I think you might want to know more of this or better try this!), I’ve had a productive start of the day.
You see I’ve been able to search some infos on Human Heart Nature products, which I’ve been wanting to try for so long already. Have you tried some already? I’ve read about them on a magazine and I would love to try their organic products. My officemate who have tried using one of their toners also says their product is just fabulous. And they are all affordable too. Now off to search for some outlets near my place.
I saw someone I know selling the spherical EOS lipbalm and I am tempted to buy. I just am not sure if it really works like it is said it would. So as I type this post, I am actually having a short break from reading some unpaid reviews online.
I have an early shift today. So after taking a bath, I hurriedly opened my wardrobe and mindlessly pulled out some clothing. Got a blouse that fits well but the pants that I got didn’t quite fit well the last time I tried it on. I was about to return it because I know I would need to find ways to get rid of belly fat (especially after the holiday gluttony..lol) before I could fit in in the pants.
Anyhow, because returning it and choosing another pants would require more time than getting into that pants and so I did try to wear it. Short of the story, I was able to fit into the pedal pants without difficulty. Yahooo! What a happy surprise. Really. And it fits me well too (self serving! lol). Promise.
:-)
December was a major fattening month. Yikes! Can’t help it really. Left and right, up and down, there were parties, parties and parties. And in this side of the globe, parties equate to foods. It would really be torture not to eat when you are facing a sumptuous and tempting feast. Not to mention a bit rude.
And then when there is no party, there would be little temptations such as this:

Pizza bread from Missy BonBon
*sigh*sigh* The effect: my sister, who is getting married this year, is now looking for ways in how to reduce belly fat. Desperately. Me, everyday, I’m giving myself a peptalk on acceptance and inner beauty. Lol. That’s all I can do to feel better at the moment.
I have to read about extenze side effects, but first I gotta introduce anothe bath buddy of mine. The Bonne Spa Milk Salt.
If I can’t have any body peel, then maybe this is as good as it gets.
This is a gift from my sis inlaw (again!). Oh I love my sister-in-law. And I love this moisturizing bath salt. First because it smells so great. Though I haven’t noticed any lightening effect on my skin, I love that it makes my skin feel verrrry smooth and soft. Its texture is not too coarse too so I think it does a great job in gently exfoliating the dead cells.
November 26th, 2010Which?
Diamond peel or salicylic acid peel? That is my question of the day.
Actually, I’m prompted to ask this question because I have a friend who has undergone the diamond peel procedure and it looks like it’s effective. Meanwhile, I’ve read about salicylic acid peel and wonders if it really works.
As I’m not the skin expert, I’d appreciate if I hear feedback from those who know or has experience with these two. I don’t see myself having one of these procedures done on me in the near future but the curiosity is there. So for the meantime, I’ll just read scour the Internet for some info.
