July 9th, 2011Events, flowers…

Many events this month! I’m already excited next week when my husband comes home and my daughter will celebrate her first birthday. It will be a special time for my family not just because of the mentioned event but because this will be the time when we’ll all be together before I make the ” big move.” I’m getting a bit emo mentioning that. But hey, I have to look at the bright side of the future and will have to keep on praying for our wishes and plans to be realized.

Oh by the way, my sister (who is in Brazil) will also be celebrating her birthday a day before my daughter does. So advance happy birthday sis. To my bro-inlaw, here’s a tip: buy some flowers for your sweetie because I know she’ll love it. Oh well who wouldn’t? I totally love receiving flowers anytime, anywhere (Paging dear husband! Lol). Really, I think most women would love to get flowers from their partners any day –so paging to all men out there. *smiles*

July 6th, 2011One Shot A Day

I’ve promised myself to take one photo a day  this month, before I leave for the “greener pasture.” Nothing extraordinary, but it’s just a personal project to take shots of the simple things that would remind me of this month. I’m still trying with diferrent subject every day and so far I’ve fairly made some shots although I have not done so daily in the past few days.

But yes, I’m trying. It’s just that sometimes I feel like I just want to use a point-and-shot just like the Exilim EX-H20G for this personal project. I’m having a bit difficulty with my DSLR at times  due to its bulk. Since I’m always on the go, the weight and size just get in the way sometimes. Nonetheless, I hope to accomplish this self-imposed task before I leave home.

July 5th, 2011Counting…

I’m already counting the days when I could be a stay-at-home mom. Few more days and it will be famly 100%. But that’s just temporary though, the “contract” is only up to one month. But at least I’ll have that, so I take it (who would not? *smiles*).

It will be a very busy month for me. Offline. Actually,  I’m already busy making a birthday invitation to my daughter’s first birthday. Wow imagine, it’s already a year since I last worn maternity clothes. Lol. I can just remember those times (although I’ve worn much “in” clothes in my daughter’s time than the first one).
And speaking of invitations, I’ve seen so many online. Thanks dear Internet.

So anyway, I hope to make most of my one-month stay at home. I’ll be  the laundrywoman, school bus driver, tutor, and what not. But I know, it will be great being with the kids the whole time (even if they could be a handful at times!) .

July 2nd, 2011clarifying

My previous post (here) could be a bit confusing. I’m sorry.

So let me give a little explanation. I’ve just resigned from my current job because I plan to move out of the country. Actually it’s our family’s longtime plan but it’s just me who’s going first. I’ll be leaving sometime August —yes, alone. And hopefully the rest of my family can join me after a year. But first, I have to get a job there. Hopefully (am really praying hard that), it will be still be in the telecom field (and one with salary that can support my family).  Just the other day, I was thinking what other option do I have there in terms of employment. And then I thought that maybe I, having my international driving license, could also apply for driving jobs. As it is there is a need for field engineers (telecom) in my destination. So we’ll see.  *hands in praying position* May God have mercy.

July 1st, 2011I’m Leaving…

I’m currently packing my stuff. Actually, I already packed some of my clothes — tshirts, blouses, pants and the like —in a big bag. Makes me emo but I know this is for the best. :-) I’ll be leaving soon and I hope and pray things will turn out favorable for my family.

But right now, I need to do more packing though. And I need to shop for more clothes, which makes me think og those cool and funny t shirts that I just saw online. Maybe I can have some of those too. And then I have to remind myself to complete my winter get up. Hmmm, I’m moving to a place where there’s winter, so goodluck to me (actually to us).

May 21st, 2011Morning task

I’ve been wanting to do some photo editing but I’m sidetracked to reading fenphedrine reviews instead. Hehe. Blame it on my OC self (that I cannot do anything seeing there’s still something that needs to be done).

So I spent the morning reading reviews. And at least I’m one-topic-enriched today. And then I can move on to doing other things…We’ll see. There’s my Lightroom thingy to be done. Haaaay, I miss doing Lightroom on my photos.

So anyway, there goes my morning. Ciao everyone. Be back later.

April 25th, 2011Great time

Yeeehaw! I’ve had my fill of Missy BonBon treats today!

I saw a dear friend back in high school  this afternoon and we had a fun time catching up with each other’s life while munching on delicious breads.

*sigh* Goodtimes.

April 15th, 2011Selling HKD

I’m selling Hongkong dollars to be able to buy gold online. Alright, I’m kidding! Half kidding, that is. The truth of the matter is I’m selling some Hongkong dollars because at the price the gas is going, I think I’d need lotsa money for transportation expenses. And then I reckon, I might not be able to visit Hongkong again in the next ciuple of years so I might as well sell some money. Got  a buyer, my officemate who’s gonna have a vacation in HK soon ( I so envy her! )

So what’s next will I be selling? Old clothes, bags…my sister said we should run an online shop so we can dispose unused things and earn. Think this is very practical. So ciao for now, there’s lots of work here and I should really get going. Oh, kiss me goodluck.

April 5th, 2011Waaaaa…

I could cry seeing the price of gasoline today.

Before I came home, I dropped by the gas station to have the car filled and I could really cry. Good thing I have my credit card, not a Visa reward card but just a regular Visa card, to pay for the full tank. Haaay, I miss the times when the cost per liter is about 34 pesos. Now it’s almost twice that amount. It seems that the price is increased every week. And at this rate, it looks like it would be reach to 68 in no time. Sigh. Gotta look for better ways to cut down our travel distance to minimum.

March 28th, 2011Can You Fill Me In?

My title reminds me of a song, and I can’t help but smile. Anyway, my post will not be about any song today but I have to say I’m smiling. There really are more reasons to smile, especially when out of the blue, you will suddenly be reminded about Mother’s Day.

Yah, yah, Mother’s Day. And I just had to ask my male officemate when it’s gonna be so I can get as much of fantastic Mothers Day ideas before it comes. It’s one of the items in my to-do list, to give my mother a blastin’ treat this Mother’s Day. So when is it gonna be? Probabaly May, my officemate said. Ahhh, gotta do some research now.
