I remember I mentioned in my previous blog post how much I love doing online shopping at Marks and Spencer.
Recently, I complained about a package not delivered on time and although I regret for this to happen, I’m happy that their customer service took action promptly and refunded me of the cost of my order.
Fast forward, I’m so surprised to receive the parcel of which I have already been refunded. It came more than a month after I made the order. As I didn’t expect receiving this order, I informed customer service of this and I’m pleasantly surprised that they letting me have it without repaying. Really happy and satisfied with their customer service policy.
And everytime I wear this nice fleece jacket from M&S, which I got for free, I’m always reminded of their excellent customer service.
I sooo love shopping at Marks and Spencer. Shipping is free to Australia and the good are really awesome.
A box just came full of toilettries (those that can be shipped internationally) and I am too busy sorting out since I will sending them as gifts back home. Happy working with this one.
And I can’t wait to try them too. So far the gently hand lotion smells great and feels good to the skin too. My daughter seems to like it too.
All ye online shoppers in the land down under, hear ye, hear ye.
Marks and Spencer is offering free shipping to Australia! According to the site it’s for a limited period only.
Some stocks are on sale, too. So if you’re interested, head on to http://marksandspencer.com.
Have fun shopping!
On to shopping again (Beware: This may be a topic I’ll never get tired of)
Another good online shop for bigger discount is the ozsale.com.au. Lotsa savings my friends and they have new sale everyday.
The only problem is the merchandise comes a bit longer than the other site I patronize. But if you’ve got the patience, it’s good.
Speaking about online shopping, I marvel at how convenient this is. Really amazing how I can shop for anything in just my pajamas!
And guess what? 99% of our furniture are bought online. The 1% would be those were given to us or bought before the hubster cam to live in Oz. After that, it’s online shopping. Clothes, shoes, accessories…I have not tried grocery but maybe I will do that too.
So see you in awhile, gotta make my round-ups for discounted stuff. Hopefully, I can find dance gifts today.
If I’m not on Facebook, chances are I am scouring the net for good discounts. Yeah, sales! It’s a woman’s bestfriend. Lol.
But there’s a site I like to regularly check because I’m so impressed at how efficient their delivery is. And they offer lotsa good deals, I’m telling you.
The site is dealsdirect.com.au. I just love how fast the orders come. And they do free shipping deals regularly and I usually watch out for this events. Just wonderful really.
November 3rd, 2012Hmmmmm…
I’ve been checking these men’s wedding rings online which reminded me of a moment not too long ago.
I’ve flirted with my husband and asked him if he’d buy me something for Christmas from Tiffany’s. He laughingly said yes. I’m not sure though if he means it or not.
Oh well, whether or not he means it, I do mean that I like having one or maybe a couple of pieces from Tiffany’s. Lol. For Christmas or for whatnot.
So dear husband, are you reading this?
Another month has passed. Tomorrow it will be October. Christmas is getting closer and closer. And what come to mind when December comes to mind? GIFTS! Such a pity because I am unemployed this December (and won’t be able to shop as much as I would love to!). *sigh*
But I have to make my Christmas shopping list still. And the sooner, the better it would be if I’m looking for huge shopping savings. To start with, I’m thinking of buying in bulk. For instance, get table linens wholesale. Must be cost-effective that way, expecting it would be much lower that way. So gotta get off now and look for good bargains - online and offline.
Living in the Oz is quite expensive. I’m saying this not only because I come from a country with an exchange rate multiplied 42 times to its currency compared with the AUD, but also becuase it is the reality. Fine, food comes cheaply. But commodities such as clothes and shoes (of good quality which I love to buy) are not. So I desperately try to make ways not to cross the line of the reasonable expenditure habit. I’m quite successful with this. I mean, I have been shoping reasonably so far.
My secret? I’ve discovered a wonderful shopping place where I can buy great good at good prices. The name is Birkenhead Pointe. It’s a shopper’s haven. Actually, I call it my Temptation Island (because I always get tempted to buy more than what’s planned when I get there).
It has great shops such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Forever New, etc… And the prices of the goods are much lower than when you buy them in the downtown shops. Actually, at Birkenhead Pointe you get them at factory price (sometimes lower). Hence, my piece of Temptation Island in Oz it is. But really it is my favorite place to shop.
Dear husband is home today. It looks like I have passed the flu virus to him as he is not feeling too well today and he’s been coughing and sneezing a lot. Poor darling. Actually as I write this, he’s in the other room sleeping.
Now that said, I don’t think I’ll be online for most of the day. I will just check what these hygienic levers are and then I’ll also be off to make sure DH is okay and not running a fever.
Then, I’ll be off to Woolies as I plan to prepare chicken broth for lunch to help him feel better (goodluck to me!).
By the way, for those not in Oz, Woolies is actually short for Woolworth’s, a grocery store. Timtam’s this week is at AUD $2 there :-). Okay, okay, gotta really be off NOW.
