July 22nd, 2009Shine-Free

I have oily facial skin and it’s always a struggle to keep it shine-free.  As I never liked using loose powder, I tried using foundation to keep the shimmer off my face. It’s actually works but the only setback is I needed to apply it again and again. And sometimes, I never have enough time to do that-especially if we have a busy day in the office (I could barely eat lunch on a very busy day!).

But good thing is I found a great oil-blotting paper to quickly fix that unsightly shine. But before telling  you my quik fix to my problem, check this Outer Banks rentals for finest beach homes. Now, my trusted to buddy to keep my face shine-free in just seconds is the GATSBY Powdered Oil Clear Paper. It works in 2 ways: it absorbs excess oil from the skin and it  lightly powders the face.  So what more can you ask for?

July 9th, 2009Spa in a Bottle (Part1)

If a genie appears to me and gets me one wish now, I wish that I could be in an rv camping vacation now. As in NOW na, and not a  moment longer. I’ve seen a camping trip in a trailer on TV a couple of days back and it sure looks like fun and exciting way to chill out. Imagine to be able to bring the comforts of home with you in a vacation. Lovely, lovely thing!

But a genie is yet to show his head while I’m here in the office. So I’ll just write a review post instead *smile* I guess the easiest subject I have now is this thing just beside my monitor. It’s a bottle of the Spa Wisdom Hydration Creme from The Body Shop. Made with shea butter from Ghana and honey from Zambia, this sure is a great moisturizer for the hands and feet. Actually, among the many hand/feet lotions that I’ve tried, this one is my favorite because it is not icky greasy. It is so light that you’ll immediately feel its soft effect on the skin. I also love it’s mild scent.

Cost-wise, I believe that you’ll get your money’s worth for every 125 ml bottler of the Spa Wisdom (Africa honey butter for hands and feet).   What more, you get to experience the spa feel anytime and anywhere with the Spa Wisdom hand and feet creme.

June 25th, 2009Start Writing Happily

Speaking of colors and Crayola, here’s a product that I absolutely love. We -my and my son- are using at home with our coloring exercises.

It’s a bit pricey compared to the regular crayons but you’ve got to love these thick WRITE START colored pencils. You just can’t miss the very cute designs on the pens’ surface.
