June 30th, 2010ALO Aloe Vera Drink

After my brother (who used to work in Korea) introduced us to Aloe Vera drinks, I have to admit that I’m kinda hooked on them. Just love its taste. Before finding out a locally made aloe vera drink, I usually buy the imported ones from Korea.

Now, I’m buying these.

It is has a mango taste to it but like the Korean brands I used to buy, it has aloe vera bits too. This Alo Aloe Vera drink, containing Collagen, L-carnitine and Vitamin E, boasts of helping in keeping the skin healthy and youthful. But at the moment, I still cannot say anything about that though I’m aware Collagen and Vitamin E are great for the skin. L-Carnitine, they also say, helps burn fat so maybe this would be great for those trying to trim down their bodies. So we’ll see. :-)

Okay gotta scoot now and read some Clinicallix reviews. I know I’ll surely be a learning a thing or two about losing weight, although I still cannot do that at the moment.

June 28th, 2010For Personal Knowledge

I was curious how furnace filters look like so I researched them online. Now, don’t be surprised with this admission because in this part of the globe, where the climate is tropical, houses don’t usually have furnaces. We have airconditioners though.

And looking at these  furnace filters online, I saw that they look similar to some aircon filters. So at least I’m one thing less ignorant today. Lol.

June 26th, 2010Yupi

Be it known that while I’m reading an acnepril review, I’m eating Yupi gummies. :-) Hmmm.

Yup. Picked up this other brand of sour candy from the drugstore. I haven’t seen a gummi worms of this brand so I only got what’s available: little gum candies in aquarium and fruit cocktail theme.

Compared with the Trolli brand, the Yupi gummies are much softer. They are not too sour too. But their sweet and sour taste, I think, are most appealing to kids, judging from the look on my son’s face while munching these sour treats. :-)

June 24th, 20102 More To Go

So we started collecting the Toy Story 3 toys available at Shell Gasoline stations.

If the station where we usually buy our fuel have available toys, our collection would have been complete by now. We already got 3. Two more to go and we hope we can get them before promo ends, which is on July 15, 2010.

June 20th, 2010Oreo Strawberry Creme

Have I already mentioned about the new flavors of Oreo cookies before? I must have! But in case I didn’t, you ought to know that they have the Peanut Butter Creme and Strawberry Creme aside from the original Vanilla Creme.

Still can’t eat these at the moment (even if I’m taking my Omega3 supplements, I still have to closely watch out with my intake) but a month from now, I promise myself to get on with my usual fix. Lol.

Oh here are some packets of Oreo Strawberry Creme. I’d like to share some with everyone ;-) So so yum-o I promise!

Been to the bookstore to buy school supplies for my son. And also after ages, I finally got my loyalty card  aka LNC card from National Bookstore (learn more of that from their website). Yehey! I’ve got to earn more points from now on –which also means constant visit to the bookstore :-)

Anyway, just found out that National bookstore sells ready-to-wear school uniforms for kids and the uniforms are way cheaper than you buy them in the mall. When I saw their price (and compared), I so wish I haven’t bought sets of uniform for my son because it would have saved me more than 200 bucks! Haaay. But at least next time I shop for uniforms, I know where to stop first.

June 18th, 2010For the Little One

After 7 months, I finally decided to shop for some things our coming little one would need when she’s delivered soon. So here are some of the goods I came home with, after an excursion at the mall.

Basic white clothing pieces for newborn

I reckon a washable cotton diaper is practical, so I include 2 packs of these.

Then I couldn’t resist this uber cute onesie in pink. :-)

BTW, this was the first time I incurred a huge bill in one shopping spree. I almost couldn’t believe the amount I had to shell out for all of the things in my basket. Mind you, a half dozen of Kohler kitchen faucet maybe a lot cheaper! But I believe it was all worth it.

June 17th, 2010Happy Birthday Ma

Today is my mom’s birthday, so allow me to deviate from my regular programming to greet the most important woman in my life. Happy happy birthday Mother! I always pray for you to constantly have a happy heart, cheerful disposition and most of all, I pray for a long life and more fruitful years ahead of you. I love you.

After the Ferrari toys, with almost real Ferrari parts, that gasoline station Shell is known to offer to their valued customers at a lower price (and which my son has a collection already), now they are offering cute Toy Story 3 toys at affordable prices.

There are actually 5 variants of the Toy Story 3 collection available at Shell stations nationwide from June 11 until June 30, 2010. These are Woody (on a train) , Buzz Lightyear (on a Spacecar), Jessie & Bullseye, Aliens, and Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear (on a dump truck).

BTW, I am not really a big fan of buying promo toys (such as offered in food chains), but it’s a different story when it comes to the toys offered by Shell. They are just hard to resist. :-) And currently, we have collected 2. Hah, 3 more to go!

Tan tananan……

The best thing about SmartMoney is we can now use it with our Paypal account!

With Paypal, it very much functions like your credit card or with the Unionbank Eoncard, which I used to have but have only used once with Paypal. BTW, Smartmoney is Mastercard-powered.

So all of you online junkies out there who use Paypal, now you know we have an option to use the Smartmoney. :-)
