I’m so happy for a friend who has just acquired a camping property. I’ve seen the photos of their newly bought vacation place and it’s so nice. The log cabin, which the family likes to call as “jungle house”, has a nice kitchen, a living area and a loft. Really perfect for a camping holiday as it looks warm and cozy. There’s also a lake nearby where one can go fishing. The house, however, is not located at the lakefront unlike these valued properties at Table Rock lake real estate, which I’ve seen an hour ago –online of course. Looks so beautiful. Haaaayy. I wish. *smiles* Holiday places such as these are really good investment, not to mention the perfect getaway in case you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Many events this month! I’m already excited next week when my husband comes home and my daughter will celebrate her first birthday. It will be a special time for my family not just because of the mentioned event but because this will be the time when we’ll all be together before I make the ” big move.” I’m getting a bit emo mentioning that. But hey, I have to look at the bright side of the future and will have to keep on praying for our wishes and plans to be realized.
Oh by the way, my sister (who is in Brazil) will also be celebrating her birthday a day before my daughter does. So advance happy birthday sis. To my bro-inlaw, here’s a tip: buy some flowers for your sweetie because I know she’ll love it. Oh well who wouldn’t? I totally love receiving flowers anytime, anywhere (Paging dear husband! Lol). Really, I think most women would love to get flowers from their partners any day –so paging to all men out there. *smiles*
Purefoods Corned Beef you are definitely the best! At least for my family, especially my son. And because of this, this item is constantly in the grocery list every week.
Oh I know we shouldn’t be eating too much canned food. But we just love the rich taste of Purefoods Corned Beef that it has easily become our breakfast buddy. It’s really different among other brands I’ve tasted, and there are already quite a few I’ve tried. But so far, nothing tasted quite like it. Infact, I’ve also tried a different type of corned beef from Purefoods but the classic one is unbeatable.
I’ve promised myself to take one photo a day this month, before I leave for the “greener pasture.” Nothing extraordinary, but it’s just a personal project to take shots of the simple things that would remind me of this month. I’m still trying with diferrent subject every day and so far I’ve fairly made some shots although I have not done so daily in the past few days.
But yes, I’m trying. It’s just that sometimes I feel like I just want to use a point-and-shot just like the Exilim EX-H20G for this personal project. I’m having a bit difficulty with my DSLR at times due to its bulk. Since I’m always on the go, the weight and size just get in the way sometimes. Nonetheless, I hope to accomplish this self-imposed task before I leave home.
I’m already counting the days when I could be a stay-at-home mom. Few more days and it will be famly 100%. But that’s just temporary though, the “contract” is only up to one month. But at least I’ll have that, so I take it (who would not? *smiles*).
It will be a very busy month for me. Offline. Actually, I’m already busy making a birthday invitation to my daughter’s first birthday. Wow imagine, it’s already a year since I last worn maternity clothes. Lol. I can just remember those times (although I’ve worn much “in” clothes in my daughter’s time than the first one).
And speaking of invitations, I’ve seen so many online. Thanks dear Internet.
So anyway, I hope to make most of my one-month stay at home. I’ll be the laundrywoman, school bus driver, tutor, and what not. But I know, it will be great being with the kids the whole time (even if they could be a handful at times!) .
Here’s another book—actually books— that your toddler may love.

Bible stories for kids. Love ‘em all.
I started reading Noah and the Ark (not in the picture) to my son and he loves it. So when I found these books, not altogether though, I couldn’t resist to buy them. My son totally loves them and keep on reading them.
My previous post (here) could be a bit confusing. I’m sorry.
So let me give a little explanation. I’ve just resigned from my current job because I plan to move out of the country. Actually it’s our family’s longtime plan but it’s just me who’s going first. I’ll be leaving sometime August —yes, alone. And hopefully the rest of my family can join me after a year. But first, I have to get a job there. Hopefully (am really praying hard that), it will be still be in the telecom field (and one with salary that can support my family). Just the other day, I was thinking what other option do I have there in terms of employment. And then I thought that maybe I, having my international driving license, could also apply for driving jobs. As it is there is a need for field engineers (telecom) in my destination. So we’ll see. *hands in praying position* May God have mercy.
I’m currently packing my stuff. Actually, I already packed some of my clothes — tshirts, blouses, pants and the like —in a big bag. Makes me emo but I know this is for the best.
I’ll be leaving soon and I hope and pray things will turn out favorable for my family.
But right now, I need to do more packing though. And I need to shop for more clothes, which makes me think og those cool and funny t shirts that I just saw online. Maybe I can have some of those too. And then I have to remind myself to complete my winter get up. Hmmm, I’m moving to a place where there’s winter, so goodluck to me (actually to us).
If there’s one book seriesfor the kids that I love to collect, it would be the I SPY books. They are totally educational and fun. It just too bad that the local bookstore doesn’t usually have stocks of these books.
The first I SPY books (see picture below) I purchased were ordered online.

Let’s flip the pages to see why I love them. See?

Nice huh? Very very nice I think and attractive to the kids too. Great to enhance the kids’ visual discrimination. Actually, the books come by stages. So for pre-schoolers, they have titles that are suitable for the age group. There are also titles for kids who are starting to read and then those who can already read.
Sixty-plus-plus years ago, a couple of birth announcements happened. It’s for my mother and my father. As I understand, unlike these days, there were no baby showers or big parties for something like this then. But I’m sure there’s a celebration of sort then, though the way of celebration may not the same.
Anyway, speaking of celebration, there’s a lot of that this month. There’s just many reasons why we need to celebrate - in our small little ways.
