May 25th, 2011For Ed Hardy Fans

So surprised to see Ed Hardy accessories today. I’ve seen shirts with prints adapting Ed Hardy’s designs but I wasn’t aware that there are even Ed Hardy jewelry available for everyone who loves Ed Hardy’s artistic work. I’ve also seen that there are Ed Hardy watches for men and women available. Hmmm… I’ve seen nice designs on the watches. Haaay, now if only I have the budget for these. Wish, wish….

May 25th, 2011Visit to Citi

And finally, I was able to take some time off my regular home-work-grocery routine to go to the Citi Hardware branch near us. It’s  a short visit but I guess I’ve seen what I’ve been wanting to see. ;-)

‘Nice place. It’s wide and spacious and airy. And they have most of home accessories one needs —from bath to kitchen to roof.  I was able to get a replacement of our water dispenser faucet from there, too.

And the most wonderful thing is they offer free iced tea and cool water to their clients, much to my surprise and my son’s delight. :-)

May 21st, 2011Morning task

I’ve been wanting to do some photo editing but I’m sidetracked to reading fenphedrine reviews instead. Hehe. Blame it on my OC self (that I cannot do anything seeing there’s still something that needs to be done).

So I spent the morning reading reviews. And at least I’m one-topic-enriched today. And then I can move on to doing other things…We’ll see. There’s my Lightroom thingy to be done. Haaaay, I miss doing Lightroom on my photos.

So anyway, there goes my morning. Ciao everyone. Be back later.

May 17th, 2011Sorry

My apologies. This morning, on my way to work, I was supposed to take a photo of the new Citi hardware (that I’ve blogged previously) as an example of steel buildings. But I wasn’t able to because I wanted to beat the clock in the office (which I did by few second). I would have been late if I stopped on the way to work. But hopefully I can get a shot tomorrow. *crossing fingers*

May 15th, 2011Smile. smile, smile

I’ve been to a shopping spree lately. For very important reasons.

Just clothes. But can I just say that one can get  a different “high” when one shops.  Haaay. You’ll get a dent in the budget but retail therapy is a good thing (at least if  not done too often *smiles hugely*)

But yes, I got clothes. Very basic but nice (I think). And I got them at the right price, all because  Robinson’s  had a Sale recently. Yey! :-)

May 12th, 2011PEP

I can’t believe I’m still awake at this time. Oh well, I slept this afternoon so I don’t feel too sleepy yet. Still, it’s late and I can’t believe what I’ve been doing all this time. Guess what? I’ve been reading entertainment  news online! And I know tomorrow I might just be needing eye cream for dark circles. Thanks to PEP. :-)

But yes, I’m kinda hooked with the showbiz articles on the site. And reading about the lives of the famous is addicting. So after Facebook, it would seem that this is site that I’ve been visiting a lot lately.

After a long day of work, I decide to reward myself to something new and maybe wonderful. The Jollibee Chicken BBQ! My heart says it’s sinful. So be ready ECG!

But yes. Finally, I was able to try Jollibee’s Chicken Barbeque which I’ve been been wanting to try for ages but haven’t gotten to until the other day.  I’ve always been tempted to order everytime I get to a Jollibee counter and look at its very tasty photo but I always end up ordering another meal in the menu. Anyway, so I was finally able to try it. And I’m disappointed.  Okay maybe it’s an “outlet thing” but the chicken given to me wasn’t as tasty as I imagined it to be.  Nor was it juicy (like the ones from a favorite chicken barbecue place we frequent).  Or maybe I just expected much because it’s from  Jollibee.

Sorry to all of you Jollibee fans out there but I think that’s the first and the last chicken barbecue I’m gonna get. I’m just really disappointed.

May 7th, 2011Rice Paper by Palladio

Photobucket

So I was in the salon, and not only did I learn that Beauty bar has already opened in town but that they sell a nice product called Rice Paper.

It’s like an oil-blotting paper like the one I’ve been using (Gatsby). Like Gatsby, it’s pretty affordable and handy. Now the big difference though is that it uses natural rice powder to eliminate the shine on the face. Actually, either side of the paper can be used for blotting facial oil but there is a side with rice powder on it. And the nicest thing is that you can choose from 4 variants that best suit your skin tone: Natural, Warm Beige, Fair and Nude.

l got the Natural shade and I love it (I passed my Gatsby to my husband, which he also loves). It perfectly does its job of getting rid of the unwanted shine on my face in a jiffy.

BTW, one pad of Rice Paper Tissues contains 40 sheets. And each sheet is made of the following ingredients: Oryza Sativa (rice) paper, Oryza Sativa starch, Methylparaben, Fragrance. From the Iabel, it may also contain Titanium Dioxide CI77891 and Iron Oxides.

So happy because an outlet of Citi Hardware has opened near our doorstep. And imagine the excitement of my father. Yes, that is one of the newest commercial steel buildings you can see from the highway and it’s just a stonethrow away from our house.

Okay that’s a bit of an exaggeration but it’s really just near our place. Walking distance, I mean.

I have yet to visit the place though. I know I have a long list to pick up from a hardware so maybe in my next restdays I will schedule a day to walk to the hardware and get some shopping done.

April 29th, 2011Beauty Bar in town!

I’m so thrilled to have found out (from my hairstylist) that Beauty Bar has opened in one of the malls in the city. Finally.

So now I don’t need to ask the hubster to get this-and-that for me (in Manila) as I can already do that on my own here. What joy that is! And then it gets me to thinking that now I need really lots of moolah to do just that!!! Lol.
