After a long long time of abstinenece (what a term!) from eating burgers, I suddenly had a craving for a cheezy cheeseburger this afternoon. And not just any cheeseburger but what I had in mind (and had wanted to get a mouthful of) is the Cheeseburger from good old McDonald’s!
So on the way home, I made a detour to a McDo branch to pick up one and boy did I just make my tummy happy. I cannot believe how I was able to steer clear away from burgers but I definitely, for the record, love McDo cheeseburgers. Now, how much calories can I get from one? Or shall I start popping weight loss pills? now? :-)
My mother brought home a box of chocolates called French Truffles after attending her high school reunion. The chocolate was a pasalubong from one of her high school friends, she said.
And we- my son and I - feasted on it! It is surprisingly good. Actually, I can say that it is one of the best chocolates I’ve ever tasted. I swear. So so yummy, I promise. Delectable, really. It literally melts in your mouth. It has a smooth rich chocolate flavor but it is not sooo sweet. And not too bitter either. It has a perfect chocolatey balance that absolutely makes me reach for more. On its box, it says there are no preservatives added so it’s an added point.
It’s perfect for to go with some wine too. So while celebrating for your most successful home based business or whatever is the occasion, why not include a French Truffle? I’m sure your guests will enjoy it.
P.S. Now I’m constantly in the lookout for a local store that sells them. Hope I get to find one soon.
Sounds interesting ayt? Well, I just drooled over the salad recipes at prevention.com that are said to help get the belly in shape. No I wasn’t kidding. I was honestly salivating over the the enticingly nutritious top 5 diet salad recipes there.
By the way, if anyone of you reading this happen to know about diet pills that work, I appreciate it if you could drop me a line here.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Red Ribbon goodies. I am. Because they are just simply delectable. Actually, I never exit from the mall without dropping by their outlet. Give me all the exit signs in the world but I never do so -not until I pick goodies from them. It’s a habit already.
But on my mom’s birthday I get to taste something heavenly from another bakeshop. My brother and his fiancee brought home a box of chocolate cake, which its name I name I have carelessly forgotten- sorry! Nonetheless, here’s a picture of that cake.

Help yourself! But really, go treat yourself to some heavenly goodness and bring home a box if you have a Goldilocks branch in your place. Ah okay, I’ll have to ask my for its name next time.
Red Ribbon.
On the hair? No.
On the old oak tree? No -although I prefer a red over the famous yellow ribbon on the old oak tree. *Chuckle*
Red ribbon on the dress then? *frowning and shaking head vigorously* No! No definitely not.
I say, Red Ribbon in the tummy. The whaaat?
Yes, the tummy. Red Ribbon goodies for MY tummy. Soooo sooo love them.
From their Chocolate Mousse cake to their pansit palabok, Mango bars to their cinnamon roll. Empanada to their delectable mocha mamon. Yum, Yum.
I totally love all the food from Red Ribbon. Actually, my family loves their food. Hubby hearts their cakes. My son loves their regular mamon and their mango bars. Yummm, they’re the best!
After writing this quick post, I suddenly had an afterthought that maybe people would come up and start asking me about diet pills and all. Oh God pleeaaase spare me that! Just ask me anything- yeah anything under the sun except that. Please. It would be as much a favor for me as it is for you. *chuckle*
Now but if you’re still itching to ask about the best diet pill for you, you may first get expert’s advice you need from your dietician, nutritionist or your physician. And then you could also read reviews of these supplements online.
I just finished eating snacks with my son. We had some Vegetable Bread from Goldilocks and spread a thin coat of butter on it. Yum! We both heart it.
My son loves the raisin in it and was literally eating til its last crumb!
It costs more than the common bread in town but it’s I think I get my money’s worth with it.
