April 27th, 2011Zumba, Zumo…Waz Zis?

A friend shouted out about how she loves Zumba and I went like, what iz that? :-) I sincerely got interested when she mentioned she was sweating in minutes of doing it, and that she loves it. So I searched through Mister Google and here’s the link about Zumba. After reading it, I wanted to try it too. So after this post, and after looking at this motor GPS which is incidentally called Zumo 220, I’m checking if I can get a copy of the fitness program. *crossing fingers*  Have to try it in my next restdays.

And I’m searching for a copy of the program

March 16th, 2011Hmmmmmm.

Fresh from our short R&R, I am simply happy.  So much so that at the moment, it makes me feel guilty thinking about  depression rehab treatment centers and the people currently serving time there. But at least there are institutions such as these to help get people back on their feet.

Anyway back to happy thoughts and our little break. Thanks Chali for making our very short vacation lovely. And I’ve been eating food from the resto like crazy (and now I am trying to get as much exercise I can to burn the pounds I’ve gained in our 2-day stay). But I so love eating their barbecue with Java rice —so delish! And I can’t wait to munch some again.

May 17th, 2010We.Want.This

Having an allergic and asthmatic child is not easy, and I’m saying it as a mother who has one asthmatic kid and who has experienced scenarios that have tested my courage and strength.  But that said, how much more difficult it must be for the child.

And because of all that, it is important that we take all measures to keep the kid from having an attack, at all times and at all cost. Whatever that means.  :-) For instance, we keep books cleaned and free from dust all the time. We watch his diet. We have regular A/C cleaning. We change beddings every week to keep it mite-free– actually, we’re supposed to do it every three days or best, everyday as advised by the doctor. But we settled for every week because our laundry woman comes every weekend only.

And we buy non-allergic stuffs for the kid, which brought me to seek allergy bedding, if it’s available because we need these things. And I found some, from mite-free pillow cases to allergy-resistant mattress toppers.  Really want these beddings.  No, we NEED these! So gotta find a way to get some delivered here.

April 17th, 2010Ilog Maria Throat Spray

Photobucket Before anything else, i.e alli weight loss,etc.., my apologies for those people who have been waiting for me to start my Ilog Maria product reviews. Please be assured that I have not forgotten this but I have only given it some time to fully test the effectivity of the products I’ll be reviewing. =)

Anyway, I have decided it’s already time to write my reviews about some of the bee products. To start off, I’ll do a little post about the Ilog Maria Propolis Throat Spray, a natural spray which I have tested on on those times I had sore and itchy throat.

Its label says the Ilog Maria Propolis Throat Spray is anti-viral, anti-bacterial and antioxidant. It freshens breath, keeps gum healthy, eases smoker’s cough and relieves sore throat.

Direction for use: spray on tonsils at first sign of itchiness. Two squirts is enough.

My one word: effective. As directed, I have used it at the early sign of colds, two squirts in the morning and another in the evening and I have proven how effective it is. After two days, itch and sore is gone. Moreover, it doesn’t have any “alcohol feel” to it nor does it sting. Given all that, I also recommended this one for my sister to use whenever she gets sore throat.

My rating: 5.

June 14th, 2009Just a Note

After writing this quick post, I suddenly had an afterthought that maybe people would come up  and start asking me about diet pills and all. Oh God pleeaaase spare me that! Just ask me anything- yeah anything under the sun except that. Please.   It would be as much a favor for me as it is for you. *chuckle*

Now but if you’re still itching to ask about the best diet pill for you, you may first get expert’s advice you need from your dietician, nutritionist or your physician. And then you could also read reviews of these supplements online.
