Who has seen the movie?
What to do you think?
Methinks it’s pretty inspiring.
The start was pretty dragging and I understand that somehow in the movie, facts have turned into hollywoody but still I like it. Great movie to make us understand FB more (or the persona behind it).
I’m blown at the fact that Mark made a billion-dollar worth site on his own. Oh well, the dispute on the originality (of FB) may not be settled but I mean, come to think of it, Matt did the codes and all with maybe not much of a thought how big Facebook would be years later.
And FB has become so so big already. It’s become a staple thing for some people. In all honesty, I must admit that Facebook is one of the first sites I login to whenever I get online. And more often than not, it’s where I get my updates of my friends’ and relatives’ lives.
I count myself lucky for being able to watch Avatar yesterday, for free. I didn’t watch it on the big silverscreen with 3D (where others say I’d appreciate the special effects even more) though, but was only viewing it in the office but I enjoyed it nevertheless. And for someone who rarely has time to watch tv (reads tv deals, yes but not really watch), much less movies, it really feels great to have the time to watch a good film again.
A movie written and directed by James Cameron (remember Titanic?), the Avatar tells the story about a paralysed man who was sent to a mission in the moon Pandora to control an alien body with his mind “but becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home.” (Quote: Imdb.com) It stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver among others.
I am no pro movie critic but I think it deserves to win a Best Picture Award. Also, for me, it sends a beautiful message about taking care of the environment.
Before the movie X-MEN Origins Wolverine hit the big screen, I was one of those who were lucky enough (ain’t we all? lol) to have seen the leaked copy. (My bad!)
Anyway, I so love it. I honestly, honestly do that I just have to watch it again in the Silverscreen. And I have got to say this: Hugh Jackman is a brilliant actor - he’s absolutely perfect for the role. Ok, enough with sounding like a gushing teenager.
Now off to an interesting tidbit. Do you know that you can already play X-MEN Origins Wolverine on your PS3? Yup, yup, yup. It’s is one of the newly released games for PS3. So all of you X-men fans and PS3 players out there, who just can’t get enough of the movie, go grab your copy now. As in now na. *smiles*
