July 17th, 2010Pigeon Freebies

I forgot to mention it but the Pigeon Baby Bottle Cleanser refill I bought –and mentioned before–comes with one free big Pigeon bottle. How cool is that!

Now, look at this image below.

This Pigeon bottle also comes with a tiny bottle of the Pigeon Cleanser. See that little bottle inside the baby bottle? That is it. :-)

BTW, I like the “revamp” look of these new Pigeon bottles. So sleek.

I’m curious about this: student laptop insurance. Does it only apply to students? Everyone (who has a laptop) surely needs it so how about people, like me, who are no longer studying? But before I get to find out about that, let’s first talk about love. (Hehe. Sound mushy!)

Love, love, love. It’s the word that I always associate with Pigeon products. I just love them. And I use them because I love my babies so much I try to give them the  best. I trust Pigeon is the best for them. :-)

That said, I believe the Pigeon Baby Bottle Cleanser is the best cleaning product there is.Photobucket  First because it’s made with natural foodgrade materials (edible) so I don’t need to worry about harmful chemicals. Second, it’s gentle on my hands. Third,  it washes off quite easily so I get to save on water.  Fourth, it doesn’t leave a “soapy smell” as it only has the faintest smell that is absolutely pleasant. Last but definitely not the least, the Pigeon Baby Bottle Cleanser can be used not only with baby bottles but can also be used to cleanse toys and other baby accessories and fruits and vegetables.

April 16th, 2010Pigeon 2-Way Cake

I was in the toystore with my son yesterday (to give him his well-deserved reward) and while in the counter, I spotted stacks of blue Pigeon boxes near the counter. Inquiring, I found out the boxes contain  a two-way cake (yup very much like the Maybelline Two-Way Foundation which you can use either with a wet or dry sponge).

Since I am a huge fan for Pigeon baby products (I actually trust Pigeon for most of my baby’s needs), it didn’t take much to convince myself to try one. There are only two variants available (Fair Yellow and Warm Beige) in the store so I opted to try the Warm Beige.

Short of the story, I bought one and tried it as soon as I got home. And I was hugely disappointed. :-( First and foremost, I don’t like its smell (and that’s not negotiable!). It has the kind of smell that bothers me and sometimes give me headache (yup, so hand me a natural migraine relief, please). It’s the kind of smell that I could detect in some cosmetic products.  Second, it didn’t seem any effect on my skin. I mean I couldn’t see any difference with it on. Unlike the Maybelline Two-Way Foundation, it didn’t me give me the finish that I expected so I’m quite sad that I invested my Php300 on it. :-(

So there, I’m still for the Maybelline Two-Way Foundation.
