October 17th, 2010Need Inputs

At so early in the morning,  I’m already busy scouring the Net for some information. Wondering why I got the time? It’s because I’m in the office and it’s not yet too busy at this hour here, so I busy myself with personal stuff.

Anyway, I’m trying to find out a couple of things today. First, I’m looking for the best shampoo for hair loss and falling hair. Someone in the family may need this. Nah-ah, not me although I’m having hair fall problems (which must be hormone-related). So any suggestion?

Next, I’m finding out an ideal anti-parasite shampoo for my kid. This is embarrassing to admit but we found out my toddler has parasites aka lice on his head few days ago. As I haven’t found an ideal product for my toddler, I resorted to just using a fine comb on him. I planned to have him brought to the barber next week to have his hair cut very short (his regular cut). But in case there’s a recurrence (when hair grows), I just want to be ready.

So bring on the comments, please.

September 23rd, 2010Cutesy Socks-y

I’ve never thought of socks to be oh so cute. But I guess I’ve never found one that merits my saying so. Not until I found these:

Photobucket Pretty moms, before you worry on motorhome repairs, you’ve gotta look at these socks that look like mary janes, ballet shoes!  Cute, cute ey?

And I’m gonna call these things shocks. ;-)

So why bother buying shoes, if I can get my little one to wear these. It’s a much cheaper alternative, not to mention fashionable, too.

Been to the bookstore to buy school supplies for my son. And also after ages, I finally got my loyalty card  aka LNC card from National Bookstore (learn more of that from their website). Yehey! I’ve got to earn more points from now on –which also means constant visit to the bookstore :-)

Anyway, just found out that National bookstore sells ready-to-wear school uniforms for kids and the uniforms are way cheaper than you buy them in the mall. When I saw their price (and compared), I so wish I haven’t bought sets of uniform for my son because it would have saved me more than 200 bucks! Haaay. But at least next time I shop for uniforms, I know where to stop first.

It’s late at night and I’m making a list. It’s not the usual what-to-dos or my grocery list but it’s a shopping list of sorts. An online shopping list, I should say. And a quite expensive one because there’s pretty much in the list already, I might add. And I’m still adding more to the list — haaay, a pro/con of online shopping is that you can never really get too tired with just your fingers doing the walking, ey? =) No more getting dressed, no more brochure printing (oh maybe sometimes there is), no more queuing… Yup, so convenient that sometimes, you can easily be tempted to buy more.

But what can I do? I know I need these things. And the coming baby would need these things too, as  the list actually consists of mommy-baby essentials. Now I have to decide when to click checkout.

May 14th, 2009Oh Choc It

I’ve been forgetting a lot lately - like you will not believe it!

I forget things to bring in the office.

I forget things to do.

I just forget. Maybe there’s really just a lot in my mind (I think I need a memory-enhancing pill now! Or a built-in compact flash in my brain. Lol)

Anyway, I went to the grocery last week and I forgot to pick up something very essential for my day-to-day existence (I’m not telling you what it was but it was EXTREMELY important). *hids behind the screen*

But wonder of all wonders that I did not forget to take home a bar of Toblerone Fruits and Nuts. So totally love it’s creamy goodness. :-)
